Course Outline
The course's primary focus is that of promoting the implementation web standards and accessibility for corporate websites.
Many of today's web designers and developers rely totally on the use of existing web design tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver or Flash to create their web pages. Although these tools are capable of creating standards compliant and accessible web content, the best way to ensure compliance with standards and the UK law is to have an intrinsic understanding of what these standards are.
A particular focus of the course is on the accessibility of web based business applications and web based communication technologies.
Delegates can also gain professional qualification credits towards a 60 credit University Certificate of Professional Development or degree from De Montfort University.
This module is worth 10 UCPD credits.

Entry requirements
